Every Kraken sail ships complete and ready to use, with the bag, battens and hardware listed on your quote. Here’s how shipping, duties and taxes work.

Shipping costs

• Custom sails: shipping is itemised on your quote, so you know the delivered cost before you order.
• Online shop orders: shipping is calculated from your delivery address and shown at checkout before you pay.

We ship worldwide. If you think the wrong shipping cost has been applied, contact us and we’ll put it right.

Build and delivery times

• Woven and laminate sails are typically dispatched six to eight weeks after design approval. Membrane sails take longer, typically ten to twelve weeks, because the membrane needs time to cure.
• Australia and New Zealand: 2–7 business days after dispatch
• Asia, North America and Europe: 5–12 business days after dispatch
• Other international: 7–21 business days after dispatch (subject to customs)

These are estimates, not guarantees. If you need your sail by a particular date, tell us before you order.

Order tracking

As your sail gets close to dispatch, you’ll find tracking numbers and any customs documents in your customer portal, or we’ll email them to you.

Import duties and taxes

• Australia: we import your sail and handle customs clearance. Prices include GST unless marked “ex GST”, so there’s nothing extra to pay on delivery.
• Outside Australia: import duties and taxes charged by your country are your responsibility unless your quote says otherwise. We’ll provide the commercial invoice, certificate of origin and any other documents you need to clear customs.

Additional information

• We ship with international carriers including DHL, FedEx and UPS.
• Large sails may need special freight handling. If this applies to your order, we’ll tell you before dispatch.
• If your sail arrives damaged, please let us know as soon as possible, ideally within 7 days of delivery, with photos, so we can claim on the carrier’s insurance. This doesn’t limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. See Returns & Refunds.
