2-Year Limited Warranty

Effective for sails manufactured after January 1st, 2024, Kraken Sails provides a 2-year limited warranty from the date of manufacture.

Coverage: We guarantee that your sail will remain structurally sound and free from manufacturing defects during the 2-year period. This includes:
- Seam failures
- Delamination of membrane sails
- Hardware failures (e.g., headboards, clews, and leech cords)
Exclusions:
- Misuse: Using sails outside their design specifications (e.g., using a light wind racing sail for offshore cruising)
- UV Damage: Sustained exposure without proper protection
- Wear & Tear: Cosmetic issues like chafing or discoloration that don’t affect performance
- Environmental Factors: Damage due to extreme weather conditions (e.g., hurricanes)

Immediate Replacement Guarantee

If your sail experiences a structural failure or hardware issue within the first 90 days of delivery, Kraken Sails will immediately replace the sail, no questions asked, using our priority production process. Your replacement sail will be fast-tracked to ensure the quickest possible turnaround time.

Global Shipping & Inspection Process

For any warranty claim, Kraken Sails provides global shipping services to and from your boat. To start a claim, simply email us at [email protected] with detailed photos of the issue. If necessary, we’ll arrange for the sail to be inspected at one of our certified lofts or facilities.

For sails covered under warranty, Kraken Sails will either:

Repair the sail and return it to you at no charge
Replace the sail, either fully or partially, depending on the issue and timeline
